“8 Things”

-Boredom is good for you- it’s your brain screaming at you to give it a genuine challenge

-Feeling guilty about something means you’re normal, and it’s there to give you the motivation to change for the better

-Pain should never be ignored, stuffed down or hidden. It’s like covering up mold with wallpaper- eventually it’s all gonna crack if you don’t deal with it.

-Shame is a lie that tells you you’re worthless.

-Not all pain is bad; and in fact, pain can be GOOD for you. The pain of waiting makes you PATIENT. The pain of hard work makes you ACCOMPLISHED. The pain of apologizing RESTORES your relationships. The pain of awkward silence teaches you how to have a CONVERSATION.

– Solitude and isolation are two very different things. One restores you; the other tears you apart from the inside out.

-Don’t get so busy with you that somebody else is missing out on what they need from you. Nobody else in this world can replace what you have to offer.

-Never replace what IS good with what FEELS good.
