If we only knew our worth in His eyes… there would be no contest between temptation and obedience. We wouldn’t worry about proving ourselves, comparing ourselves to others, striving to be perfect, nor would we hang on to the old sins that we carry around with us like a bag of donations in the back of our car for months on end. 🙋♀️
I will say this loud and clear until the end of my days:
There is no greater feeling in the world than uncovering what it means to be loved and treasured by God…
It changes everything!
You are not your sins. You are not your bad habits. You are not your mistakes. You are not what your parents say about you, you are not what your spouse or your friends say about you. You are what God says you are. You are a beloved child of God. Let that change you from the insideout.
I encourage you to begin your journey (and it is a journey) to uncovering how much God loves and adores you. Begin to allow this identity to define you.
Finding our value in the light of the cross is the key to freedom.
