This imperfect world brings with it the sorrow that sometimes we will never be loved how we’d hoped we be. Of course, it is always the HOPE.

But sometimes, that relationship we wanted will never be restored on this side of Heaven. That parent will have walked away. That spouse will have always put you last.

Free will carries these possibilities.

Maybe this has happened to you? Maybe your heart is hurting knowing that love you wanted will never be there.

I want to remind you that God sees YOU. He hears you. Every tear you’ve cried, He has cried along with you. And He’s willing to become everything to you that that broken person couldn’t be.

If your heart is hurting, I encourage you to open your heart and invite the Holy Spirit into those places that have been left vacant.

Our relationships on earth are meant to be a mirror of who God is. Ask him to show you who He is as a Father, as a faithful friend, a brother, a husband.

He will be faithful to fill the void with His love. And He won’t leave you or forsake you.
