This is why growth is so important. Without bringing God into our corner daily, the temptation for sin will be too great for us to withstand on our own. We need His daily reminder of WHO we are.
The more we move away from that reminder of who we are, the easier it is to give into the things we’d never imagine giving into.
Keep His word at the center of who you are. Let it remind you daily that you are chosen. Bought with a price. Loved with an everlasting love. You are an adopted Child of God. Fearfully and wonderfully made.
And if you’ve given into the things you never imagined… Remember, that His grace is greater than all your sin. And He is more than willing and able to help you overcome!
